Eisaku Inoue is a renowned character designer and animation director, who represents a very important member of the Japanese animation world and who has been involved in the realization of many anime series of the 90’s, such as Saint Seiya, Dragon Ball Z, Street Fighter, Tenchi Muyo! Ryo-Ohki, B’TX and Madoh Oh Granzort.
Born in the Kanagawa prefecture, since his very young age Inoue was already extremely passionate about drawing, and that included the representation of his favorite robot anime characters like Mazinger Z, but It was thanks to the inspiration given him by Leiji Matsumoto’s pioneering Space Battleship Yamato that Inoue decided to follow his dreams and to enter professionally in the animation industry.
In fact, in the past years he’s served as key animator for Gunbuster, Iriya’s Sky, the Summer with UFO and both “Digimon Hurricane” and “Revenge of Diaboromon” from the Digimon Adventure 02 series. He was also the character designer and the chief animation director of t the One Piece movies, such as :“Adventure of Spiral Island”, “The Mecha Soldier of Karakuri Castle” and “ Episode of Alabasta Kingdom – The Pirates and the Princess of the Desert”.
Eisaku Inoue was also engaged in the realization of the One Piece series as chief animation director and creator of the storyboards for the TV episodes, thrilling more and more its fans and giving strong emotions to all anime lovers.
